The staff at the Cemetery Department is responsible for the operation of Forest Dale Cemetery on Forest Street and is charged with maintaining the Salem Street and Bell Rock cemeteries. Burials at Forest Dale Cemetery are restricted to persons who have been residents of Malden for five years at the time of their death.

The Cemetery Department is currently working on a system that will enable the public to have on-line access to view a list of persons buried at the Forest Dale Cemetery.  This system should be available mid 2012.
