The Law Department defends and prosecutes all actions and suits commenced by or against the City, its agents, servants, officers and employees. The Law Department is comprised of the City Solicitor, two Assistant City Solicitors and one legal clerk. The Law Department also processes Workers' Compensation claims for City employees.
