Malden Little League Baseball runs one spring season (April - June) of co-ed little league baseball instruction for developmental and competition purposes as well as a free indoor winter clinic
MLLB accepts players that are Little league baseball age 4 through 12
Ages 4 & 5 (and first year 6 year olds) Tball Division
Ages 6 & 7 Clinic (instrucitonal) Division
Ages 8 & 9 Minor League Division
Ages 10, 11 & 12 Minor League or Major League Division. Players must try out in order to be eligble for Major League Division.
Challenger Division: The Challenger Division is  a separate division of Little League Baseball for boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school.

MYSA runs 3 seasons of soccer programs for ages 4-18 years old. Boys Girls and Co-ed.
In City Co-ed Under-6 (U-6) and Under-9 (U-9)
Travel Boys and Girls Under-10 (U-10) through Under 18 (U-18)
 
The In City Programs meet one time per week, first half of the session is instructional and the second half is for scrimmage games between the teams within each age division and is intended for developmental purposes.
 
The Travel Program typically practices 2 times per week with games on Saturday (U16 & U18 sundays Spring season only)
Fall Season is an instructional and developmental season and the Spring season is the competitive season.
