Every vote counts! Each one of us has the ability to make a significant impact on our local and state governments by casting our vote. In addition to the presidential race and various state offices being decided next month, there are four ballot questions that each of us can weigh in on. Although we anticipate a higher than usual turnout for this election, in Massachusetts we may now cast our ballots even earlier than Election Day on November 8th.
To make voting more convenient for residents who may have difficulty getting to their polling location on Election Day, beginning Monday, October 24th through Friday, November 4th, residents will be able to vote in the City Council Chamber, 200 Pleasant Street, 3rd floor during regular City Hall business hours. Residents may also vote at our new Police Station over the weekend on Saturday, October 29th and Sunday, October 30th. Unlike absentee voting, early voting is available to every registered voter and voters do not need an excuse or reason to vote early.
For additional information on early voting, absentee voting, voter registration or other election related questions, contact the City Clerk's Office at 781-397-7116 or firstname.lastname@example.org. For Malden's early voting schedule click here.
Again, please vote and let your voice be heard!
