Henry Morton Robinson House

The house  located at 47 Mountain Avenue was the home of novelist Henry Morton Robinson (1899-1961). He was best known for his 1950 novel, The Cardinal. The book chronicles the life of an American priest who becomes a Prince of the Church. In 1963, the story was adapted to film and nominated for an Academy Award. The movie was directed by Otto Preminger and portions were filmed in Malden.
