Library Employee Celebrates 45 Years of Employment

Wednesday, March 15, 2017

Mayor Gary Christenson joined Malden Public Library Director Dora St. Martin and Library staff to congratulate longtime employee, Marjorie Glennon on 45 years of outstanding service to the Library. In 1972 Marge began working for the Library as a student messenger in the Converse Memorial Building. She became a full time employee in 1978, and is likely the only staff member to work under former Directors Irving Cole and Dina Malgeri as well as current Director Dora St. Martin! The Mayor presented Marge with a citation in recognition of her dedicating her entire career to providing quality customer service to all patrons utilizing the Library.
