Mixx 360 Donates to WWI Memorial

Monday, May 14, 2018

At the beginning of the May 8th World War I Committee meeting, Anthony Decotis, owner of Mixx 360 and Town Line Luxury Lanes presented the Committee with a $10,000 check toward the refurbishment of the WWI Memorial. “Anthony and his family are always willing to help and make a difference in our community,” said Mayor Gary Christenson. “They continuously go above and beyond in their generosity to our residents and our City.”

The City is working to ensure that this project will be completed by November 11, 2018 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Veterans Day, the official end of WWI. To further aid in the support of these efforts, residents may “Adopt a Veteran” for $25 by sending a check to  the “CITY OF MALDEN” with “WWI MONUMENTS” noted in the memo section and mailed to Kevin Jarvis, Director of Veterans Services, 110 Pleasant Street, 3rd Floor, Malden, MA 02148. For further information, please call Veterans Services at 781-397-7139.
