Fire Chief Colangeli Interviewed on Haitian Radio Show

This past week, Fire Chief Jack Colangeli was interviewed on the Haitian American Radio Show “The Way of Salvation” by Program Assistant Director Abia Pierre of the Philadelphie Church.  Chief Colangeli was joined by Mayor Gary Christenson and the topics discussed ranged from general questions about the community to fire safety and equipment. The members of the Malden Fire Department stand ready 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, to quickly and efficiently combat fire whenever and wherever it may occur and to professionally mitigate all other emergency incidents to which they respond. A main goal of the Department is to prevent fires from occurring and to prevent related hazardous conditions from endangering the public. Public safety is advanced through community education and initiatives on fire prevention, fire code regulatory inspections and code and regulation enforcement.
