Over the course of his mayoral campaign, Mayor Gary Christenson met with residents across the City about the challenges that face the City of Malden and listened to their suggestions about how best to help Malden reach its full potential. Immediately after his election, Mayor Elect Christenson established a Transition Team to evaluate the existing structures and priorities within City Government. The Transition Team focused on four components: (1) overall operations of city government; (2) resident communication with city government, (3) experiences on doing business in Malden, and (4) the Mayor’s Housing Task Force.  The Transition Team was chaired by City Councillor at Large Greg Lucey and each member of the Transition team was a resident of the City of Malden.   Based upon the information gathered, recommendations were made for improving the delivery of services to Malden residents.
