Animal Control
The Animal Control Officer serves as a public safety officer for the City of Malden and responds to all requests for assistance with animals ranging from domestic, wild, dangerous or animals in distress.

Assessor
The Assessor’s Department is responsible for accurately determining the value of all real and personal property located within the City of Malden for the purpose of taxation.

Cemetery
The Cemetery Department is responsible for the operation of Forest Dale Cemetery on Forest Street and is charged with maintaining the Salem Street and Bell Rock cemeteries.

City Clerk
As official record keeper for the City, the Clerk’s Office files and maintains series of records such as vital records (births, deaths and marriages), Business Certificates, Board of Appeal and Planning Board decisions, municipal ordinances and minutes of all boards and commissions.
