Board of Health Clinic

The Malden Board of Health is a statutory board created pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 111, Section 26 and Chapter 41, Section 1. Its staff acts for both the State and City to enforce the laws and regulations governing health and sanitation. The Board of Health also conducts a public health clinic that is staffed by one full-time nurse and one part-time nurse. The Board of Health Clinic provides clinical and data collection services with an aim at promoting and protecting the health, welfare and safety of Malden residents. It also enforces the laws and regulations governing health, environment and communicable disease control.

The clinic offers a variety of health services to the local community such as:

  • Annual influenza clinics
  • Childhood immunizations
  • Communicable disease case management and control
