Flexible Spending

The City of Malden offers Flex Spending through the Cafeteria Plan Advisors. This benefit allows you to set aside a portion of your pay before taxes to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses. 

HEALTH CARE: Includes co-pays (medical & prescription), deductible expenses, non-cosmetic dental work, orthodontics, prescription eyeglasses, contact lenses, laser eye surgery, alternative health therapies (e.g. acupuncture), mental health services, and MORE! Current Max. Annual Election: $3,050. 

DEPENDENT CARE: For children under 13 and dependents with special needs. Eligible expenses include: day care, preschool, before & after school care, summer day camp, and elder day care. Current Max. Annual Election: $5,000.

If you are interested in enrolling in Flex Spending please fill out and return the CPA Enrollment form, along with the Dependent Care Enrollment form if interested.
