The Mayor’s Youth Employment Program is now accepting Youth Applications from youth aged 14-24! The program partners with community, private and government agencies to provide a wide variety of first or early work experiences for Malden youth. The steering committee will do their best to match experience, preference and skill level to place you accordingly.
There will be both in-person and virtual opportunities this summer, so please be sure to indicate your preference on the application.
The majority of applicants will need to meet grant eligibility criteria for a position, so please read the questions carefully. There are also a very limited number of positions available for young persons who do not meet grant eligibility criteria, so we encourage ALL youth to apply!
We strongly encourage youth to complete their own applications and for youth workers to communicate with us directly.

The Mayor's Youth Employment Program is also accepting Worksite Applications for local businesses in Malden. Worksites can request one or more youths to be employed at their businesses for the duration of the program.
