To vote by mail, download and submit a signed 2022 Vote by Mail Application. Electronic signatures are accepted. Typed signatures on applications cannot be accepted. Your online signature will be compared to your hand-written signature.

Applications for Vote by Mail Deadline Vote by Mail requests must be received in writing at least five (5) business days before the election. Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 5:00 PM is the deadline for the November 8th election.
We have several options to submit your applications and completed ballots:
Deliver to: City Clerk's Office, Room 220 at Malden City Hall Mail to: Malden City Hall 215 Pleasant Street, Room 220 Malden, MA 02148 Email to: email@example.com Place in a ballot drop box at: City Hall or Malden Police Station
NOTE: The United States Postal Service recommends allowing up to 7 days for mail delivery.
When you receive your ballot: Vote, sign the affidavit envelope, and return your ballot to City Hall to be counted. Ballots cannot be dropped off at a polling place on Election Day.
