Mayor Gary Christenson recently welcomed new business Sunny Florists to 7 Pleasant Street. This is the second location for Sunny Florists, a full-service florist shop, who has serviced the South Boston Seaport and surrounding areas for nearly five years. They provide a wide variety of flowers and indoor plants and sell related products such as vases, planters, candles, and balloons.

They also offer customized floral design services from daily gift giving to events such as meetings, holiday parties and weddings. They currently host floral workshops for groups in their South Boston location but are planning to do the same in the Malden location twice a month. They also provide floral subscription services for commercial businesses and plan to expand the service to residents. Subscribers get discounted pricing on premium fresh flowers, free vases and participants may choose weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly flower deliveries.
