Malden Public Health Director Chris Webb recently reported on the latest numbers with respect to known cases of COVID-19. As of this morning, Monday, March 23rd, the City of Malden has nine (9) tested and confirmed cases. At this point, exposure is more than likely from interpersonal contact.
Malden’s Health Department has been in contact with the residents and all quarantine protocols and precautionary measures are being followed. It is anticipated that these numbers will increase as the State increases the amount of testing taking place.
The City also has an additional 57 presumed cases with an additional 21 people who are being isolated due to contact with these individuals.
