Malden Public Health Director Chris Webb recently updated the latest numbers with respect to known cases of COVID-19. As of Thursday morning, March 26th, the City of Malden has thirteen (13) tested and confirmed cases of and these individuals are in isolation. There are also 25 residents quarantined because of contact with those who have tested positive. Malden’s Health Department has been in contact with the residents and all quarantine protocols and precautionary measures are being followed.
Additionally, the City of Malden has 51 presumed cases. To date, 62 residents have completed the quarantine or isolation period. Currently, Health Department nurses are monitoring 89 cases, and all are taken the necessary precautionary measures.
