Congratulations to our newest Malden Police Officers! Please join us in welcoming lateral officers Connor Murphy and James Oliveri. Both were sworn-in during a ceremony held at Malden Police Headquarters on February 18th. The ceremony was attended by other department members, command staff, city officials and friends and family of both officers.
Officer Connor Murphy transferred from the Boston Police Department where he served the city for six years. He is also a veteran of the United States Army.
Officer James "Jimmy" Oliveri joins us from the Danvers Police Department where he served for four years. He was previously a Deputy Sheriff with the Essex County Sheriff's Office.
We are proud to have these officers join our ranks and our MPD family.
