    213 Main Street is an affordable housing development project being carried out by Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC) with support from the City of Malden. The project will bring 100% affordable housing units to the property formerly owned by The Salvation Army. ACDC acquired the property in May 2022 and expects to begin the community design process in the fall. ACDC has committed to working closely with Mayor Christenson's Office, Ward 1 City Councillor Peg Crowe, and the City's Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development (OSPCD) to ensure a transparent, inclusive, and community-centered planning process to develop a neighborhood-scaled project bringing needed affordable housing for working families in Malden. During this meeting ACDC will present their current plans for the project and receive questions and comments from the community.
